Although we are adept at quick, caring and efficient service when treating pet illnesses and providing emergency care, we most often deal with routine pet care. We know that this is one of the most important components of ensuring the health and safety of your pet. We want to make sure that pet owners understand the urgency of preventative health care for their pets. Early diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as intestinal parasites, fleas, ticks, allergies, organ damage, visual impairment or various diseases can mean the difference between a healthy, happy pet and one who experiences major pain, suffering or ongoing health problems. To catch and treat any dangerous health threats to your pet as early as possible, the in-house diagnostic services we offer include:
Intestinal and external parasites are a major health danger for your pet. Roundworms, Hookworms, Whipworms, Tapeworms, Coccidia, Giardia are all intestinal parasites that can be more than just uncomfortable for your pet, they can lead to serious illnesses, such as Lyme Disease or even be deadly. Some parasites can also be transmitted to humans. We offer a variety of preventative options depending on the health and specific physical condition of your pet. In case of infection, we can administer a regimen of highly effective aggressive, treatments that aim to relieve your pet’s (and your) suffering as quickly as possible.
In addition to routine checkups and preventative medicine, we also care for your pet in ways that help to make life with pets easier and more convenient. To that end, we offer Pet Laser Therapy, which treats the injuries and chronic ailments your pets may be suffering from without relying on expensive, cumbersome surgeries or drug intervention.
We also offer Pet Boarding, either standard or VIP, so your pets can experience comfort, safety and a bit of pampering of their own while you’re on vacation enjoying some relaxing downtime.
To encourage the community to make routine pet care a priority, we are pleased to offer a FREE consultation for new patients! Dr. Paula Alshouse and the staff at Spring Oaks Animal Care Center looks forward to welcoming both you and your precious pet into our wonderful family of furry friends.
